Mapry Co.(Head office: Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Keiji Yamaguchi; hereinafter “Maply”), SBI Sumishin Net Bank, Limited (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President (CEO): Noriaki Maruyama; hereinafter “SBI Sumishin Net Bank”) and THEMIX Green Co: (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takumi Takahashi; hereinafter “THEMIX Green”, a subsidiary of SBI Sumishin Net Bank) have signed an agreement with Saiki Regional Forest Association (Head office: Saiki City, Oita Prefecture; President: Hisao Todaka; hereinafter “Saiki Regional Forest Association”) for the realization of Forestry DX.

■Background
On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, SBI Sumishin Net Bank will establish THEMIX Green, a new company to promote carbon credit business and forestry and forestry DX business, with the aim of contributing to the maximization of forest value, reduction of environmental impact, and development of a sustainable society through the creation and distribution of forest-based carbon credits (carbon credit business) using the “J-Credit System” (*) and DX in forest supply chains. The company aims to contribute to the maximization of forest values, the reduction of environmental burdens, and the development of a sustainable society through the creation and distribution of forest-based carbon credits (carbon credit business) and DX in the forest supply chain, utilizing the “J-Credit System” (*).
In order to promote this business, SBI Sumishin Net Bank and THEMIX Green have formed a business alliance with MAPLY, which develops GIS applications, and Salesforce Japan, Inc. (HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinichi Koide), which develops global CRM and customer management systems, and to jointly promote a digital platform business for forestry and forestry administration DX and carbon credit issuance by integrating their respective services and know-how.

■Contents of Agreement
MAPLEY, SBI Sumishin Net Bank, and THEMIX Green have concluded an agreement with the Saiki Regional Forestry Association to cooperate and collaborate in the following matters in order to realize the Forestry DX. Through this agreement, we aim to resolve the shortage of manpower and realize sustainable forest management.
