From the perspective of “selecting and supporting the best in the region,” the program was based on recommendations from 81 of Kansai’s leading entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, accelerators, and other experts on startups in the Kansai region.

■About J-Startup KANSAI
　The program was launched in September 2020 as a regional extension of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s J-Startup Program. Promising startups are selected from the Kansai region that will go global, and intensive support is provided in collaboration with public organizations and private companies, in conjunction with the Cabinet Office’s Startup Ecosystem Center Formation Project.
